Hike Club Meet Up

Start your hike on the Fern Canyon Trail. You'll follow the dirt road that winds around fourfold in the mountainside. On clear days, views of the San Gabriel Mountains will greet you as you hike. The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding area as it steadily climbs, including a breathtaking mini-canyon covered in ferns. Along the way, you'll have to cross a creek.

A breathtaking vista awaits you at the summit of Beacon Hill. The skyline of downtown Los Angeles is seen to the south. Mount Hollywood and Mount Bell, two of Griffith Park's taller peaks, are visible. Beneath the Verdugo and San Gabriel mountains are the cities of Glendale, Eagle Rock, and Burbank.
