Reel Connections

Fanny’s, the restaurant at the Academy Museum, and The Next Fun Thing are teaming up to present Reel Connections: Speed Networking for Filmmakers, a professional spin on speed dating designed to support and connect creatives in the film industry.
More than a traditional mixer, this curated experience requires a pre-event survey and uses a dedicated moderator to thoughtfully pair attendees with a selection of relevant peers, fostering meaningful, productive conversations.
Tickets are regularly priced at $40 and are currently available for $20 (50% off), with the reduced rate made possible by First Entertainment Credit Union. The discounted price is automatically reflected at checkout — no promo code required.
What Your Ticket Includes

- Thoughtful one-on-one pairings based on your pre-event profile
