The Collaborators Club

Los Angeles is full of people working on something.

Someone is planning a dinner series. Someone has a space they want to fill. A brand wants to get its product into the right hands. A photographer is looking for something worth shooting. A community builder has people ready to show up. And a social media person knows how to make all of it look good online.

These people should probably know each other. So we’re launching The Collaborators Club, a way to get them in the same room, on the same night, and make those connections happen IRL.

How it Works:

1. Tell us what you do (and who you want to meet).
   
   • Before the event, everyone will fill out a short profile sharing what they do, what they’re working on, what they can offer, and who they’d like to connect with.
2. We’ll make some introductions.
   
   • Show up, check in, and our system will match you for eight curated one-on-one speed networking rounds with people based on what you’re looking for and what they’re looking for.
3. Then, we mingle.
   
   • After the curated rounds, the room opens up into a casual mixer. Continue a conversation, meet someone you didn’t get matched with, introduce two people who should know each other, grab a coffee, and see where the night goes.

Event Agenda:

1. 6:00 PM: Check in, grab a coffee, tea, or matcha, and get ready for the night ahead
2. 6:30 PM: Speed Networking rounds occur.
3. 7:30 PM: Group mixer begins!

Why We’re Doing It:

So much of making something happen starts alone.

Behind a laptop. In a Notes app. Searching Instagram for the right person. Emailing a venue you’ve never stepped inside. DMing a brand and hoping someone sees it. Asking a friend if they know a photographer, a designer, a sponsor, a space, a DJ, a social media person, or just someone who knows someone.

Meanwhile, a lot of those people are looking for YOU.

So we’re putting the builders, creators, organizers, brands, venues, and people with useful skills in one room and making it easier to find each other.

For Our First Club: Couplet Coffee

We’re kicking things off at Couplet Coffee in Hollywood, and honestly, it feels like a pretty perfect place to start. Couplet has built its coffee shops around making specialty coffee feel fun, inclusive, and approachable. That same spirit is what we want The Collaborators Club to feel like.

Grab a coffee or matcha. Meet eight people we think you should know. Stick around for the mixer. Then let’s see what comes out of the room.
