Location: Downtown LA

With events held only a handful of times per year at The Mayan, tickets are a hot commodity among Angelenos. This eclectic show features Mexican wrestling, comedy, burlesque, contortionists, and even low riders. There’s really nothing else like it, so catch their next show on August 22!

Cabaret Versatile

Location: West Hollywood

Thursdays are for authentic French burlesque (and can can!) by Cabaret Versatile at La Bohéme. This hoppin’ spot also hosts burlesque with live jazz on Saturdays. Just be prepared for a $20 cover in addition to food/beverages.

Vixens & Villains

Location: Sherman Oaks

If you’re drawn to the villains over the heroes, this dark cabaret might be for you. It’s giving Maleficent in her best lingerie vibes over 5-6 acts spanning burlesque, cirque, and more. Find it monthly at The Green Room on Ventura.

The Toledo Show

Locations: Santa Monica, West Hollywood (+ sometimes Long Beach, Hollywood)

Musician and dancer, Toledo knows how to captivate an audience. Catch one of his jazz / burlesque shows Fridays at Petit Ermage in WeHo or Sundays at Harvelles in SaMo. Occasionally he’ll also perform themed shows at The Spotlight in Hollywood and Harvelle’s in Long Beach.

Dirty Little Secrets Burlesque

Location: Long Beach

With diverse themes centered on pop culture, this burlesque troupe steps out of the box to offer unique shows and experiences like burlesque bingo. Some exciting upcoming themed shows are Britney Spears, Haunted Mansion, and Wicked. Show locations vary, but a regular spot is Harvelle’s in Long Beach.

Dollface Dames Main Stage

Location: Santa Monica

No two shows are the same at the Dollface Dames’ Main Stage show. Catch a monthly 90-minute  themed cabaret show on an actual stage at Illusion Magic Lounge. Upcoming themes include your favorite fiction characters, carnivals, and a special Halloween spooktacular.

House of Bellanova

Location: Downtown LA

Catch a no-cover burlesque show from every Wednesday night at Shoo Shoo, Baby, a beautiful vintage-inspired bar downtown. House of Bellanova collaborates with burlesque performers around LA so the performances are always new and fresh.

Jiggles & Giggles by the LOLitas

Location: Hollywood

Sexy and funny?! Catch this comedy burlesque show at The Kookaburra Lounge comedy club, featuring a rotating cast of performers who will tickle your funny bone and tickle your fancy. Kookaburra also hosts weekly Sunday burlesque brunches, Foodies & Boobies.

The Hollywood Jane Revue

Location: Pasadena

Burlesque takes to the stage at Crown Theater exclusively with parodies of your favorite films. One of the few shows around town featuring male dancers (boylesque, if you will) and time travel, their upcoming Rack to The Future show will have you thinking you’re in a fever dream in the best way.

TRiPTease by The Dollface Dames

Location: Marina Del Rey

Proudly advertised as LA’s longest running burlesque show, the Dames are celebrating their 16 year TRiPTease anniversary this August. Catch a performance - every second and fourth Wednesday - behind a hidden door at the Killer Yacht Club speakeasy.

Bonus: Mambo Craze Cabaret

Location: TBA

A 1940s-inspired Latin extravaganza, Mambo Craze incorporates burlesque, cabaret, cirque, and of course, mambo. The evening begins with a mambo dance lesson for guests so they can make the most of social dancing later in the evening to mambo music and Afro-Cuban jazz. The show is currently looking for a new venue, so show times and locations are TBA.
