Every Friday, Alamo Drafthouse DTLA turns into a live game show hosted by drag queens Karen Beaches and Maxine on TV. Expect three different games each week, drag performances, comedy, and prizes ranging from movie tickets to free food. Volunteer to compete onstage, play along from your seat, or just watch with dinner and drinks. Admission is free, and reservations are recommended.
Walk Through a Haunted Maze to Watch a Horror Show
10.9 | 8 PM | North Hollywood
Zombie Joe’s annual Urban Death returns with a new collection of disturbing, wordless horror vignettes performed live onstage. But first, you have to make it through a haunted maze just to reach the theater. And when the show ends, there’s another maze waiting on your way out. This North Hollywood Halloween tradition is strictly for ages 17+ and includes graphic content and nudity. Tickets start at $24.
MUAHAHAHA! Halloween edition
10.9 | 10 PM | Koreatown
MUAH is back at Bathhouse for Halloween with a very efficient dress code: wear red if you’re available, black if you’re taken, and devil horns if you have them. DJs Paulie, Muneko, and Scorpioso are playing R&B house edits, Jersey club, baile funk, K-pop house, and more. RSVP for free entry before 10:30 PM.
